There was some decent movement in gold futures yesterday, but not many trading opportunities.
The price stayed in a fairly narrow range from a bit above Nat’s keyline to a bit below the previous close until the NYMEX session closed, when the price rallied about $11 an ounce from the close at the low of the day session.
The price moved across Nat’s keyline about halfway through the move and if you used that as an entry point there was a possible Globex trade worth about $400 per contract.
But it was not very obvious, and it is doubtful that many traders took it. Overnight traders had not decent opportunities to profit.
