Despite a narrow range in the ES, the Tuesday ES trade was almost perfect for overnight traders — those who place orders pre-market and leave them in place until the close the following day.

In this case the entry was within a couple of ticks of the daily low, and the exit (m.o.c.) was close to the high of the day.

The trade netted about $400 per contract.
